On this day, we in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) together with our brothers and sisters in Christ of the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church commemorate the Dormition of our Lady the Virgin Saint Mary, the Theotokos. Our Lady is a Patron of Ethiopia according to the teachings of the EOTC.
May the intercession and blessings of our Lady the Virgin Saint Mary be with us all!
