For World Poetry Day, l made a poem in the spirt of my favourite poet, Bacovia.
Drama Kingdom
Are we honest?
To each other? To ourselves?
It’s the hardest to tell.
We dance the fight for power
And fall comfortably in submission
Setting the bar lower
On our next mission.
We feed on fantasies
And artificial construction
To temper the frenzy
That slowly guides us to self-destruction
